The Pilates Method of body conditioning is a system of stretching and dynamic exercises to strengthen muscles, improve posture and provide flexibility and balance.
Pilates “develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind, and revives the spirit…it is designed to give you suppleness, natural grace, and skill that will be reflected in the way you walk, play and work.” Joseph Pilates
Pilates practice is designed to lengthen, strengthen, and balance the body. Posture, balance, and core strength (abdominals, pelvis, back) are all improved. Regular practice improves overall body awareness and muscle control, which allows the body to move freely and efficiently.
All programs are equipment based, using the Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda Chair equipment. Programs are designed to suit your individual needs.
Private and group - maximum of 3 people per class - are offered, and classes are 60mins in duration.

For all Studio programs we commence with a private 1-hour initial assessment. During this session we discuss your medical, exercise and injury history as well as assess posture, flexibility and movement patterns. In your initial assessment you will learn basic concepts and Pilates exercises. Following that session you may decide to join group studio classes or continue with private sessions.
All classes and private sessions are by appointment only. You may book a permanent time or schedule week-to-week.
